A Sea Of Red

Ellard pitched 1.1 innings Friday, and was not exactly impressive. Gave up 2 runs on 3 hits and although for some reason our permanent box scores don't show pitch counts, he threw quite a few to get 4 outs. He actually hasn't pitched very well his last few outings. Erickson pitched an effecient 1.1 innings last night. I wouldn't be surprised if we try to ride him as far as he can go if he gets the ball (which he almost certainly will). After that, it's anyone's guess.

Ellard pitched good. Maybe we ask a little to much from him though.

The corners have been so inconsistent tonight. CMON BLUE!

Home plate ump punched us out of that inning twice.

Those last 2 called strike threes looked like balls from here

All you can ask for is consistency. We haven't seen that in the same at bat, much less the entire game.

The only worse fans are Tarholes. This home plate umpire is literally being intimidated by by the crowd. Three horrible calls.

I know what you're saying. But they're acually great fans. They make me really want to win

I'm ok with a strike zone that may not be textbook. Just be consistent. What was a ball innings 1-5 suddenly became a strike in the sixth and then all hell came about in the 7th.

Good season for the guys. Could have easily won this game, but didn't get it done, for a variety of reasons. Congrats on a good year.

It was an amazing season, esp the turnaround they made in the beginning.

What was encouraging was seeing our bullpen performing the way they did in this regional. Most of them will be back. Baring injury our pitching staff will be stacked. Now we got to wait for the draft to see about our lineup. Either way, I think we’ll be better next year.
