Bottom of the 6th and Skirrow and Britts have combined for a no-hitter so far.

6-4 win to take the series with a chance to sweep tomorrow.

Skirrow, Britts and Riley combined for a no-hitter. The 4 Marist runs were a result of multiple walks by Skirrow and an error. 2 of the 4 runs were unearned. Riley got the win with a perfect 8th and 9th with 3 strikeouts.

We put up 2 in the 6th to break a scoreless tie and go up 2-0. Highfill and Rohrer with 2 out RBIs. Adametz has been very efficient, throwing only 67 pitches through 6. Possibly a rare complete game?

That was after Price gave up a 3 run lead in the top of the 9th. He did finish the inning, so he'll get the win. Not sure how proud he will be of that one.

Highfill looks like may be finally realizing the potential I think we all have known he always had. Happy for him. Hope he can keep it up.

Wasnt all prices fault. Wilson dropped a deep fly to left that would have been the second out and made it 3 to 1 with 2 outs. We were to be in no doubles defense which means the ball should not go over your head unless its a hr or top of wall. Price certainly got in a bad spot probably would have come out only giving up 1 run.


Despite earyseason comments that we were going to not extend bullpen guys and go with the fresh arm mentality we are riding price riley britts and fluharty pretty heavily. We need to get erickson gordon and 1 more going or we are gonna burn those main 4 out. Offense isnt getting any blowouts so were having to church those guys. I think we have the depth to do it but we gotta use them.


Tough week ahead. Need to go 3 and 2 or 4 and 1. Early rpi is low 90s.
