When was the last time we had a player on an opening day MLB roster? Because according to Nick on Twitter, Cordell is just that

Cordell threw out a runner at plate today, from right field, to preserve a 2-2 tie, but White Sox lose 3-2.

I believe I read that he got sent back to AAA yesterday or day before.

RYAN CORDELL CALLED UP BY THE NEW YORK METS
Former Liberty baseball player Ryan Cordell was called up to the Big Leagues on Wednesday by the New York Mets, marking the third straight season he has been on an active MLB roster at some point during the season.
