I'm thinking that with our schedule and new conference, 35 wins and 2nd in the conference should get us a 3 seed in the NCAA. 40+ wins and 1st in conference, at least a 2 seed and in the conversation for hosting.

For those who don't know where their expectations are after this weekend and weekday: Liberty coming out of those 4 games 2-2 with a missed opportunity to legitimately be 3-1 is incredible. Scott Jackson is doing a tremendous job.

We have 5 starters hitting at or below the Mendoza line. Once they get going we'll be fine even if we lack overall team power. Karraker came through with his first 2 hits of the season as did Heid and even Highfill had his first hit of the season. We'll be solid when we get healthy now that we have a little depth with position players and pitching staff something that coach has not had in the past. Lastly, this is still a young team with great potential.
