With the warmer weather here, I hope our pitchers are up to task, and put some zeros on scoreboard.

Mitchell goes the distance and the Flames get the victory over CCSU 5-1

In other news. Evans still can't throw strikes. File that one in the shocking department.

Quarterly got out of Evans basestill loaded no out James with only 1 in and then Scarborough with a clutch 2 out 2 run single. It wasnt a screamer but it was effective.

Herndon with the save. I mentioned him a couple weeks ago for closer. 5th year vet can pump it in low 90's and seems to be locating better. He did give up a couple of loud outs but atleast he's throwing strikes. Quarterly setting up Herndon could work.

Flames win 5-2 over Evansville. If Bean could cut out the walks he could be good, really good.

Said it for a couple years. If bean could repeat his mechanics he could be a first or second round pick. He's certainly looking better than last year but still has work to do. That being said 4 and 0 is good. It's middle of the pack competition and I thought our bats might have done more but I'll take it.
