we have scored 3 runs in our 3 games this week. Before tonight Alex was 3 of his last 17 AB. AP struck out 3x tonight. Somebody has got to step up. The defense just looks awful at times. Can't blame the last 2 games on the pitchers.

Lyons was dealing tonight, definitely not his fault.

This is a simple game. You throw the ball. You catch the ball. You hit the ball.

We're doing the first one well. The second two not so much.

We need to make some adjustments to start hitting. The new ball was supposed to increase offense, but it hasn't happened with LU's bats. No one on the team is hitting like they should.

It was very apparent last night why Campbell leads the league in hitting and pitching. They easily could have scored 6-7 runs last night. With Mullins and Hallum, JC transfers, they're as good if not better than last year. Hallum leads BSC in HRs and Saves and throws 95 mph. We did not improve our lot with the JCs we brought in. Their first 5-6 hitters hit .330+ and when they made outs they were "loud" outs.

Huge crowd Friday

Liberty set a new stadium record with a crowd of 3,983 in attendance at Liberty Baseball Stadium. The crowd eclipses the previous mark of 2,841 set earlier this season on March 25th against Virginia.

Watching the HP/ CCU game. HP pitcher McGillicuddy was taken out in the 8th after holding CCU to 1 run on 2 hits with 10 SO's. CCU proceeded to pound out 5 runs on 5 hits (most to the wall) in the 8th after he was removed.

The crowd on Friday might stand a while. CFAW with no concert that night, and the promise of fireworks. My son and I were able to make the whole game.

Well, I guess 24 hours later those dominant Camels now stink. Momentum is tomorrow's starting pitcher. Let's talk reality and not a bunch of trumped-up negativism, If we don't have a defensive meltdown on Friday we are probably going for the sweep today. Do we go with Clowers, or Perrett?

Final score 10-2. Kinda ticked we booted away the sweep and wasted a well pitched game with 5 errors Friday. Apparently reports that the Camels have passed us bye have gone up in smoke. Outscored them 19-5 in the 3 games.
