I'd rather just listen to Nick and not have video, the image I create in my mind looks better than the "professional" broadcast.

Commits are a little funny because I watched the stats & listen to the radio. I told my Wife that the game was better this way.

I eventually got smart and turned off the sound on the stream and listened to Nick. Audio was a bit behind the video stream but it worked ok.

Nick on radio is better than most people on TV/video.

Its been said multiple times, but Nick is a major league level announcer. we are blessed to have him working for Liberty because somebody is gonna give him a call sooner rather than later

LFSN is a Hugh asset for Liberty sports. As mentioned in another thread, I would like to see them leverage it to its fullest with the baseball tournment. Go to two two game miini series the first two day with ALL games on espn3. Winners face off Sunday with game on ESPNU. I think that would help us compete for stronger field with warm weather tournments. Do we have the contacts to get the ESPNU game?
Edit: On the golf course right so did not really think through the format but I think you can get the general idea.

The COMS department and LFSN have those connections but I don't think the athletic department has enough weight behind it's name to pull off getting a game on the U.

Just a thought...Make the Tournament an event weekend where proceeds goes to fund something like Liberty scholarships for disabled Veterans. Perhaps have a concert Sat. night. Let Jr. go to Chick-Fila, the Koch brothers, or whoever and give them naming rights for the Tournament/Event weekend in return for their their sponsorship. Take the championship game along with the PREPAID Ad sponsorship of the game to ESPN. I think ESPN may be interested in an event that supports a good cause and has their ad spots pre-sold. Liberty really does need to do something to raise the profile of the Tournament to get high quality teams committing to it.

9-0 Flames now in the top of the 9th. Perrett having a monster game, going 3-4 with a homer and a triple, 4 rbi and 2 runs scored. Great to see him getting the bat going.

Ashton with another RBI single making him 4-5 with 5 RBI on the day. If he could have stretched it out for a double he would have hit for the cycle. He has his average up to .296, which is pretty impressive after the awful start he had this year.

Great pitching for all 3 games. Holding a team to 2 runs in 3 games.
