First game of the season + super cold = these types of games.
I would rather lose in a game like this than trample some low RPI team.

Scoring 9 runs is a plus too, especially in the way they did. Losing 2-0 or 4-2 would probably be worse to start off the season.

Looks as if the new low seam balls did the job intended. i.e. increase offense.

Hopefully we can rebound we a sweep today. You like to see the guys not give up being down so big early.

3 walks, 4 HBP, and 4 errors helped us get to 9 runs (4 were earned). We didn't hit very well. Bean got hit hard. KSU did everything they could to give this game away.

Agree with chippy. Bean pickrd up where he left last year and thats not good. He has to get his control issues straight. Too many walks then guys sitting fastball. Looks like toman is shaking the lineup up a bit today.

Yeah listening to Toman he didn't seem real confident with Bean's outing yesterday. Makes me a little nervous with AP not been in a starting roll before.
