Gloucester High pitcher Jon Letchworth, who went from an unknown at the start of the season to the team’s ace, has accepted a scholarship offer from Liberty University.
Letchworth, a rising senior, committed to the Flames last week. He was impressed by LU’s brand-new stadium, which looks like something you’d find in the Southeastern Conference, and academic reputation.
