Interesting point about whether or not the committee will value a regional matchup over what is most fair. I'd like to think we could avoid that Charlottesville regional by being in the 17-24 range come tourney time. Though It'd be nice to not have to drive far to watch the games, UVA would be tough to beat.
Also the 17-24 two seeds would have a chance host a super regional in the scenario that they win their regional and the one seed from the corresponding four team regional doesn't win.

I would not complain about that one bit. Only got to spend a minute there when I went to the Austin Peay hoops game in December. Would love to have a few days to explore.

These dudes literally flipped a switch in the bottom of the 8th. It was like they were toying with Asheville all night and then when they knew they needed a run, they decided to score three.
And the inning isn't even over.

This isn't your daddy's Liberty Flames baseball team. probably lock up #1 overall either this weekend or by winning the Coastal series

I'm pleased to say this was my first ever Liberty Baseball game (I know, right?!) and it was a great one. Although, I wish we didn't have to even risk a bad loss to #275 at this point in the season. UNC-Asheville put up a pretty good fight, so I hope we can keep up the good work through these next two games so we can exhale a little and focus on picking up a few more upset wins.

We need to come out today and put game away early. Don't allow Asheville to hang around. Jump out to a big lead and then give the backups some at bats/innings.

Shephard knocks in one run, Seiz homer = 2 more. Flames take a 4-2 lead, in the 8th all three runs coming with two outs.

This team has developed a flair for the dramatic. They do this late game comeback thing a little to well

This team has character. UNCA is a little tougher than I expected.

We're top dog in the conference now. Everyone will come ready to play us. Good teams find ways to win the majority of close games. We're over that hump now. Great programs maintain it year after year. It helps to have a dugout full of quality players. This team is fun to watch.

UNCA traditionally has been a thorn in our side (some of the older FFers remember the Big South Championship game between the two some years ago)
