Quick update on Liberty pitcher Carson Herndon: Nothing definitive came of his evaluation Monday. More will be known after the weekend.

At the very least, it sounds like Herndon will miss his rotation turn this weekend against Longwood.
hope for the best for this kid

Why are Posters on this board so quick to "attack" other posters ?
Message boards are for opinions. Not everyone will have same opinion on every subject.
If I don't agree with someone I will respect their opinion, and post why I may not agree. I will not "attack" them.

I'm assuming you're referencing my post above. It was a joke.

I couldn't agree more ballcoach15. I used to love the opinions, perspectives and information shared on this board, but now it seems as though every comment leads to arguments/attacks between posters.
And - would it be too much to ask that folks take a moment to send their best wishes and prayers to Carson Herndon? So quick to jump to suggestions about how he will be replaced in the rotation with little acknowledgement about what this young man must be going through as he waits to understand the extent of his injury.

I won't believe anything written on a message board until there is a press release and it is confirmed by BJ, even if there is smoke from our "resident scribe" on twitter. I think I'm going to chortle out loud.
Lol

I have been attacked several times on this board. The last time was when I posted something that was told to me in a conservation I had with the AD. ( I did not reveal the source of my information in my post).
Someone verbally attacked me for the post, which was 100% factual. I guess I should have posted: The AD said "_____________________________________________________".

Well no news is good news at this point. if he only misses one turn in the rotation as the scribe suggests that certainly is a good thing. Having our biggest guns come the CCU and Radford series will be key. praying for good news for him

Re-read the post. I suggested nothing of the sort. At the very least, he'll miss this weekend. They're not going to run him back out there until there is a definitive answer to what's wrong with him.

Thanks for correcting me on that...no need to destroy his future prospects for at least near term gains within the conferece

Probably too much inflamation in and around the area. Once it calms down we may be able to get a better read. We need herndon because im almost 100 percent sure that toman was going to use him in a power relief role once stafford got stretched out. Ive heard he was touching 96 97 in short stints. Toman has said he was intrigued by that option multiple times in the last 3 months.
