From the N&A this morning:
The Lancers return a host of players, including reigning Seminole District player of the year DA Christian (also named first team all-Region III and all-Group AA) and right-handed junior Nathan Trevillian, arguably one of the most talented pitchers in Virginia for the Class of 2015.

Trevillian posted a 1.01 ERA and went 8-0 in his sophomore season, throwing in rotation’s second spot behind ace Jesse Stinnett (University of Maryland Eastern Shore). The junior who has given a verbal to Liberty University for 2016, will be Amherst’s ace. He features a fastball in the low 90s, a devastating hard slider and is also developing a changeup.
Baseball continues to pick up some great local talent.

I got to see Trevillian in Dixie Youth as well as in his time with the Lancers...he has a chance to be a weekend starter for us right out the gate. with Herndon, Lambert, Fulghum and Marsh all draft eligible (the other three as seniors), he could come right in and take a spot for 2015. He has an excellent fastball and breaking ball, and adding the changeup could make him a real good 4 year anchor in the rotation. I'll see if my friend and Amherst baseball broadcast voice Justin Bishop can weigh in on him as well
