Flames win a midweek game at Duke 8-2 in 11 innings

Seiz is insane.

Solid road win. Missed a lot of chances early but we made up for it late. Big tilt this weekend. If we can get 3 outta 4 were getting back where we need to be.

Seiz is looking like a real special one already. these midweek games are very important for team confidence as we go through the "non-conference" portion of the schedule.

We are going into a very important stretch here starting this weekend. 4 game set with Kent State then a pair of midweek games to close out the "non-conference" slate (I put it in quotes because with the midweek games we have non-conference opponents mixed in throughout the rest of the way) and then dive headfirst into conference play against the team we beat for all the marbles last year at home.

Additionally it looks like we caught Duke on a "staff day" as well.

Good win. Anytime we beat an ACC team it's great.

Beating Duke is always fun to me, no matter who it is or what sport. It's nice to have a team I actually like beating them. Great win for the Flame Train
