Fulghum was shoving it again today...good win for the guys after an up and down weekend. LOB was a bit much (6 or 7 I think) but the defense really got it done this time around

Good win for the guys. Wish I could have made it over for the game.

I hate the SEC, so even if Mizzou is one of the worst baseball teams in the conference it's still very fun to beat them, now if only we could do the same to an ACC team... again

No wonder we pitched well - Quinn wasn't at the game. Our two best pitched games of the year have been when our pitching coach isn't there.

Dude, we know you hate the guy (its pretty much on record on here) but really? As much as he does have an effect on how well we do or do not perform on the mound, your personal fixation on him is kinda disturbing.

Dude, we know you don't have a clue what you're talking about (it's pretty much on record on here) but really? As much as you clearly don't know anything about what makes us perform well or perform poorly, your personal fixation on having to comment on absolutely everything is kinda disturbing.

Yes because everything you say is 14K GOLD...heck even your (word redacted) is gold and you are never wrong. Do I know what causes us to play well or play poorly...not precisely no but I do try to gather what I can from the games and make my own speculations, and I find a lot more joy in my life (and sports despite my frustrations at times) by not spending so much time going after one person and I think you might improve your life expectancy prospects if you did the same...

Anyway, a win over an SEC squad will certainly give us a boost in the RPI and we have a chance to build on it with 4 very winnable games this weekend.

Beej, there are things you can't find out from a box score. You can only find out some things from people who were there or know the situation. The facts are that our pitching coach is not good. He's in large part responsible for multiple TJ surgeries over the years because he has a fascination with sliders. Our ERA when he's gone is significantly lower than we he's calling pitches. The reason I'm rarely wrong on this site is because I don't post asinine comments that a third grader could see through. I wait until I have facts and have formulated an opinion before I write things. If you knew half of what I've been told about our baseball team, our athletic department, or our school then you would realize that I don't post things unless there's a very high chance that it's right. I've tried to laugh off your posts and chalk them up to BJ being BJ, but if you want to come after me then I'm fine taking the gloves off with you. Your choice.

Well that's not entirely true :D

BJ always falls back to the 'I don't know but people inside do' argument. Never really takes a position

It takes a fifth grader to see through my comments.

beej hes got a point. go back and read what you wrote. word of advice: think before you post. its why i've been here since 2007 and still don't have over 5000 posts. I choose to let differing opinions go or just agree to disagree with things i don't like. we are all on the same team here. well with the exception of our guest posters... and shuck lol

I hope this is the case for rpi beej, but here is a list of teams with a stronger rpi than Mizzou last year:
Presby
Radford
High point
Longwood
Jacksonville state
Vcu
Odu
Furman
Hofstra
Dartmouth
Maine
Arkansas little rock
Canisuis
Columbia
