While it was a rough 5 games for then #12 Clemson, keep in mind that all 5 games were against top 20 teams.

That is true. Someone said the 8 teams in ACC Tournament would be better than the 8 that gets into CWS.

Probably was ACC fan,
I think the top 8 teams in are 6 ACC teams and 2 SEC teams.

Oklahoma State is good! Can't sleep on the Beavers. They are legitimately top 8.

Game is on ESPN3. If you've got the Goal Line/Buzzer Beater channel, apparently it's going to start airing cut-ins on Friday of all the games so any important happenings in our game should show up there.

“Eventually somebody’s going to break that (24-game) streak,” he said, “and the Flame Train is down here so we might as well do it.
We got to get by Clemson first which will be a small miracle, but we’re just happy to be down here and hope we can compete a little bit with them guys.”
Why does toman always say crap like that. Really ticks me off, why can't you instill a little confidence in your guys through the media once in awhile, but no its always got to be a miracle..

Playing the role of underdog in BSC worked out pretty good. Why stop there? It can take the pressure off the team, something they didn't handle well this year given they were picked to win the north division of BSC. In the beginning of the year Toman was saying to the media to not be surprised if we took 2 of 3 from SC, or even sweep them. You see how that ended up.

We came incredibly close to taking 2 of 3 from SC. We also came incredibly close to being swept, but the bottom line is we showed we could compete with them. I have no problema with Toman using this kind of coachspeak for media consumption. If he is saying the same thing to the team in the locker room, that´s another matter.

FIFY. We led in all three games only to have them come back and beat us by 1 in the first two. Agreed with the last sentence, although the statement doesn't sit well with me, I think it's whatever as long as he is telling the guys in the locker room something different.
EDIT: I forgot we didn't take a lead in the first game.

Depends on what cable/satellite provider you have. It's also going to be available through ESPN3 if you have access to that. I have Fios and it's channel 571 in the HD package. It's supposed to go live at 2pm today.
It's basically the ESPN college equivalent of NFL RedZone that tracks all the games at once and switches to live coverage where something important is happening (like a football team having a first and goal, basketball team trying to tie or win on the final possession, etc.).

You want to be careful in both directions really. Its good to talk your team up and try to instill confidence through the media, but remember that the opponent could be reading the same media that you are and attempts to instill confidence in your own team may set off something in the other team as well.
Remember, none of us are in the locker room so we don't know for sure, but as long as what Coach is telling his guys off the record isnt the same as what he is telling reporters on the record, he's fine.

Perritt one hops the left-center field fence for a double to get things started.

Wimmer hits a sac fly to center field and the Flames are on the board 1-0.

Three good at-bats in a row gets us a 1-0 lead in the 1st. Perritt and Wimmer both with very good contact on this pitcher. Clemson may regret throwing a freshman in his 6th start against us.

1-1 bottom 1st. Clemson with runners on 1st and 2nd with 0 outs. Toman with an early mound visit.
