10-10, going to extra innings. I guess your falsehoods and hate will have to wait another inning

I'd rather us be winning. I'm glad we are on the verge of a win.

I know we scored two in the tenth to win. How did it all go down?

Let's go play well in Chapel Hill and then regroup this weekend.

The finally run came when we had bases loaded and they hit our batter. We had several hits and they had a couple of errors.

Good to see a win. Here at the PNC Area we haven't seen one in a long time for the Carolina Hurricanes!!!!!

Actually think it was catcher's interference. We'll take it.

I was there, and I'm pretty sure the call made was a balk. The JMU fans that made the trip weren't happy about the call. I wasn't really looking at the pitcher with bases loaded and 2 outs in the bottom of the 10th... In the top of the 10th though, blue missed a call on a bunt that hit the batter when his foot was out of the box. Either way it was an exhilarating game. Props to LU keeping their heads high and fighting for the 'W' even after going down 6-0 after 1.5 innings.

The Sun Belt will be a big step up in football. Baseball, not so much. I think the BSC is as tough or tougher, and the same coud be said in some other sports.

It's refreshing to win a game because the other team made a mistake and not the other way around.

Actually that is way off.....baseball would be a very good step up. Dont confuse us having good conference just b/c of Coastal. Sunbelt is a multi bid year almost every single year and a year or 2 ago had 3 teams in regioanls. Currently the Sunbelt has 8 of the 10 teams in the top 100 RPI with South Alabama leading way at 22. Ok, the belt is going to be losing 4 of those schools, but the 2 top 50 programs are still there and they are adding App State and Georgia Southern - 2 teams that are generally in the top 50 or right around it. So you have a conference with possiby 4 teams battling for regional at-large bids before we come in. You can't say that about the Big South.

Right now - Sunbelt conference RPI is #5, Big South is #14. This isn't a big of gap as usual, but Sunbelt is almost always in the top 10 and we have never really been higher than in the teens....

There is a reason Toman was trying to bounce to Middle Tennessee. Granted they are leaving, but that was unkown at that point.

Regional apperances

2009 - 3 (Middle Tennesee, Western Kentucky, Georgia Southern)
2010 - 3 (FAU, FIU, ULL)
2011 - 4 (Troy, Ark-Little Rock, FIU, Georgia Southern)
2012 - 2 (ULM, App State)

Georgia Southern and App State's appearances do not count toward the Sun Belt's tally the last four years.

I was thinking the same thing, Chris. Either you count MTSU & WKU or ASU & GSU.

I will tell you that the ragin Cajuns have one of the most passionate baseball fanbases in the country. Even the revamped Sun Belt is primed to be an upgrade over the Big South. We should still be able to schedule non-conference matchups against regional powers (which will then include CCU) while adding some very strong league competition.

No, I know that doesn't count towards the totals. I was just trying to get an overall look of regional appearances in the past 4 years of teams that have been in the sun belt or are going to be. Guess I should have clarified that....
