Just announced today:

The Liberty Flames baseball program has announced the addition of a game to its 2013 schedule.

The Flames will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., to face the North Carolina Tar Heels on April 10 at Boshamer Field. Game time has yet to be announced. Currently, the Tar Heels are ranked No. 1 in the country in several polls.

If we can beat UNC, that would be a feather in our hat. and look good come tournament selection time

Hoping the boys can not let the emotion of yesterday affect the biggest single game of the year against the #1 team in the country

If we can beat UNC, will this be our first win ever, over a team ranked #1, in any sport ?

I would imagine so. M Soccer had some good wins (I think Wake - top 5 maybe) but I don't think they were #1.

Flames make it close, 7-5. Scored 4 in the 9th and leave bases loaded.

We don't go down without a fight. 7-5. Had the bases loaded but couldn't get that critical hit to drive them in. Nice effort!
