Liberty head baseball coach Jim Toman has been cited by Kendall Rodgers of PerfectGameUSA.com, as one of the 10 head coaches on the rise in college baseball.

Rogers mentions Toman along with Casey Dunn of Samford, Chris Pollard of Duke, Montee Lee of the College of Charleston, Rich Heller of Indiana State, David Pierce of Sam Houston State, Matt Kingston of Illinois State, Rob Cooper of Wright State, Andrew Checketts of UC Santa Barbara and Jay Artigues of Southeast Louisiana.

He isn't a bad coach. He's a horrible coach for Liberty.

Toman made a name for himself several years ago when he spent 11 seasons as an assistant coach under Ray Tanner at South Carolina. He has continued his impressive ways as head coach of the Flames.
