No doubt i cant confirm it, it was second hand information but it def. didn't sound good. Sounds like we've got a lot of nagging injuries going on and Andy appeared to tweak something yesterday when he came out of the game as well, looked like cramps at first but he ended up coming out.

5 to 1 win....3 hits. Solid pitching from Roy, Marsh, Lambert and Bankemper. Graeur's timing is back and close is ripping the ball. Thank goodness Cordell's suspension is over and hopefully andy's hammy is healed for the weekend, we are deadly thin in right now with all those guy's out.

We got a much needed win today and now we get to hopefully get three from Winthrop this weekend and go in with some confidence before two big games next week that could do some serious help for our at large chances

What in the world are you talking about? Noting that the team is piling up injuries is in no way acting like doom is lurking. At some point you have got to gain at least the tiniest modicum of perspective.

Yah. Health is the biggest reason for the drop off over the last few weeks. Just because guys are playing doesnt mean they dont have nagging injuries that alter performance. We seem to get more than our share of injuries

Bj you must have read the comments wrong - I took them as nothing but positive. Probably the biggest positive for the night is Matt marsh's return. Another high 80's arm with his stuff could be very useful in the stretch run and tournament. We really need to sweep Winthrop and then see what we can do with the big boys next week.

Yeah I think everyone is just stating the fact that we need to get everyone healthy for the road trip & and some tough games next week. Coach said before the game that he would like to get Dudley back soon. He hasn't pitched since UVa. Having some of these guys in the line up could make a difference in the close ball games.

har de har de har Jon...I already said that I agree that the injuries are an issue, but we arent seeing this team fold like teams past. We got a much needed midweek win and now we get a chance for a big sweep this weekend and hopefully get extra healthy ahead of two big time games and a very grueling stretch where starting this Friday, we play 12 games in 15 days and only 3 of them are home games (the last series against CCU). This two week stretch really will test our mettle to be sure

anyway, another good win. the guys played played well and we should have won. the injuries are concerning and we cant have much more, but hopefully we will get andy smith for the weekend and josh is close to a pitching return. let's get winthrop this weekend!
