Basehit up the middle scores the winning run! A Campbell coach had to bear hug his losing pitcher who wanted to fight somebody.

wow what a game. Fighting Camels took their name literally tonight. Punk move by the catcher on Haley, loss of composure on the pitcher. Tomorrow should be interesting for sure.

You stay classy Campbell. Catcher shove, Pitcher shoving ump, and fans yelling profanity like almost 24/7.

Great game for the guys. The refs sucked tonight pretty much the whole game for/against both teams. Did they kick the catcher out of the game? If they did, does that mean he can't play tomorrow? I bet it will be fun to watch the next two games.

No they didn't kick any players out. The way they acted tonight I'd look for some more cheap shots tomorrow.

shaw, the catcher did not get kicked out. The umps and coaches met for 10 minutes but no one kicked out.

Do the students get off for Easter? For a game with two 25 wins teams the crowd was pretty bad.

The announced crowd was 300 and change, and from the ESPN3 feed, you could hear lots of cursing in the background, which I hope ALL came from Campbell.

wow...just getting home and that was the craziest game i have ever seen. The umpiring was awful on both sides. A lot of missed calls, the Campbell coach got tossed and had a complete meltdown, then the benches clearing shoving match, and then another almost fight after the game....tomorrow should be interesting. The Campbell fans near me were going to their cars between innings and knocking down some cold ones which fueled their fires. As far as the game Niggli did not have his best stuff, but we still get the win! good start to the weekend.

Watched the game with family in Charleston. That was one of the most exciting games we have seen - you could feel the tension between the teams. Great way to start the series!

There were 30 to 40 Campbell fans there . . .they were obnoxious the whole game. Loud, rude, and like I said obnoxious. On the umps the whole game . . .got out of their seats to get a close up with the umps. The Campbell bench was warned @ 6th inning for giving the first base ump a lot of lip shortly after he called one of their players out on a pick off (there was no argument at the time of that play). Aren't they also a "Christian" university?

Yeah, that's why they don't play Sunday games. I guess they're all Driscoll fans. (Sorry, just adding levity)

Catcher needs to get one in the ear hole tom. That was a punk move and if it was the pitcher at the end, that guy needs to grow up. Apparently he has never seen a walk off win because the dog pile happens at EVERY walk off win, what a baby.

You guys are spot on about the profanity, it was obnoxious on the online feed. I'll be riding down tom. with a couple buddies, were gonna have to look up some heckling information for those 2 hot heads.

Huge win btw..got to get at least one more tom. tho.

Was there tonight, and it was by far the craziest and one of the best games I've ever seen. The campbell fans were out of control especially 1 guy right behind their dugout. The catcher should have been tossed. I have a feeling (no info) that there was an agreement that they were both (catcher and Haley) gonna go or both stay. The pitcher was mad because of celebration yes, but more so because I think he felt there was runner interferance at 2nd. There wasn't. It was a poorly officiated game between 2 very good teams. Tomorrow will be crazy I'm sure.
