Any reason to think we shouldn't be hoping for a sweep?

Hard to get a good read here...they lost to Marshall (sweep), Wofford, Furman and Alabama State, but they also recently knocked off the #4 team in the country and had to go to extras with USC Upstate last night...Its not out of the realm of possibility to be sure

Rain should hold off until late Friday night. Heaviest may fall Saturday around noon so they may still be able to get the games in.

Wow, one pitch away from a double-header shutout. Our pitching has been amazing.

Wow. As a guy who goes nuts for football and track, but only casually follows baseball, I have found myself checking this forim several times per day for updates. I'm learning a lot about the team and am really pumped to see their success so far this year!

Liberty has only allowed 5 runs or more in a game 5 times in the first 26 games...that's sick...and it looks like these are guys who arent being extended farther than they need to be either (a regular issue mentioned by some of our membership)

Am I correct to assume that you guys still aren't 100% healthy either? Scary, especially the pitching. You all might have a little treat in store for Coastal when they head your way later in the season.
I think we will get better as the year progresses, and be a tough out in the conference tourney. We can't buy any breaks on the health front so far either.

Great crowd tonight. During the 2nd game the hill was pretty much full. Any word of Mike Rob's status?

Likely just rest with the quad. He played in game 1, so I assume they don't want to push it.

Billy and Chach are doing great with our pitchers. Glad to see their hard work paying off.

It would might be a blessing if we can get the game in tom. and have several days off in a row. We need to rest guys like Wimmer, Robertson, Cox, Haley etc. I'd be intersted to know about Dudley, we haven't seen him since UVA and the back spasms. I think we will really need him down the stretch, especially in tournment play.

Chances of the game being played tonight look pretty good. Rain should move out by mid afternoon.
