Looks like the gap could come through in time to start at 6pm. But it may be delayed due to the wetness of the field.

Heard that the field is under water but with the forecast not looking any better for tomorrow, they are going to wait for awhile in an attempt to get it in.

LU wins game 1, 2-0, on 12 K's from Niggli.

Might have been a little ugly, but a win is a win. Game 2 coming up soon.

Other than the bats being silent in game one I'm pleased with how they played. It wasn't like they were not making contact. In the end we did what we were supposed to do beat an inferior opponent.

Flames win 13-1. Lose the weekend shutout in the ninth giving up a run on two hits and an error. A lot of guys played, hope that helps down the road.

Good grief. How could we give up a run. Too many errors. We need better players!

The RPI means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING at this point in the season but it is funny that we swept the series but fell 40-50 points as a result of playing Coppin - down to around 114. One in state game this weekend with Old Dominion to take care of and then the first big series of the season with St John's coming in. Their Friday guy is a big time pro prospect that throws 93-95.
