Would have missed the game if i hadn't seen this thread. Lost a close one 5-4. Rather lose this week than next. Hopefully we will take the next 2 and get ready for the BSC.

Found it interesting/ironic/some other adjective that I'm not smart enough to use that before the game it was tweeted how we'd won 15 one or two run games and Radford had lost 11 of those games and then they come out and win a one run game. Gotta love the announcer jinx.

this is now two games that niggli has struggled which concerns me. Radford's pitcher was tough last night, but i liked how our guys kept scratching and clawing and the bullpen did their job. Let;s hope for a better outcome tonight.

Radford hit two of the most perfect squeeze bunts to get those first two runs in...the second one with the corners already crashing in to defend and make a play at home...we gotta win tomorrow

disappointing loss. With the pitching that we get, we have a chance to win every game. Our bats continue to be a problem, so i really hope we can get a win today and get some confidence for next weekend.

I am thinking about going to Dickey's before the game but think this may be a bad idea with the air show going on today!

As much as it would be easier no doubt to criticize the lack of offense for our guys, why dont you see it for what it was...a masterful pitching performance today...by both sides. 7 1/2 innings of no runs after 3 runs total in the first...Good to see the guys end the year with a win. Now to get ready for Lexington. Our first game wont be til Wednesday night I think.

Well it was senior day yesterday, last home game of the year. In a game that meant absolutely nothing in the standings, why would a coach not pitch his senior pitchers to send them out the door on a high note. J.J. McLeod, Dane Beakler, Bryan Cole should have pitched in this game; instead we pitch Garrett Baker (jr); not like he has not pitched a lot already. This coach cares very little for his players; and I am surprised he gets anyone to play for him.
