The Flames look to extend their five game winning streak and look to avenge a 10-9 loss to the Tribe earlier in the year. W&M is 18-20 overall and 9-9 in the CAA after getting swept by UNC-Wilmington over the weekend and they have lost four straight.

We scored a pair runs thanks to hits by our top 3 in the lineup to start the game off. And the 2-0 lead stands now in the bottom of the 2nd.

i guess toman wanted to give the pitching staff plenty of innings because swanson pitched pretty well. 3-2 tribe bottom of the fifth.

Another stupid decision by Toman in the lineup and the pitchers; and Quinn most go. Liberty can beat the teams that are not as good as them; but they will not beat a team that is equal or better than them because they are out-coached every time.

No truer words have been spoken on here in a while.

my only guess is that swanson still isn't stretched out yet since he has only throw like 12 innings. That being said Cordell has barely pitched and we bring him in??? the handling of the pitching staff is hard to figure.

there is just zero consistency with how the pitching staff is handled. baker has been our midweek guy but they have thrown him in relief on weekends so that hurts. It just feels like the coaches are wanting to experiment more on the midweek games knowing that they winning the big south is the only way to the regionals. i would have tried to throw swanson 4-5 innings and then use the pen. who freakin knows. hopefully we win the series this weekend against VMI which will be tough.
