Good to see us get out with only the one run allowed...the last few times that we have made a key error, its led to a big inning

Nick just answered on the radio: "sick". That's definitely better than "hurt".

with the changing of the season coming that doesnt surprise me. Id rather he be dealing with a cold or strep or a sinus infection than a sprained ankle or shoulder

Doug Bream clears EVERYBODY out of the pool and LU leads 9-4 going to the bottom of the 6th

That was huge!
How about Garrett Baker today? I still feel good about Kemmerer (first start jitters), but that is some awesome relief pitching. Also, Nick said that Dudley is available today - another great sign!

Garrett Baker is cooking with nitro as he sets down nine in a row and LU still leads 9-4

Good grief, BJ, looks like we have another starting pitcher! This is outstanding!

What a pitching line:
8 IP, 1 R, 3 H, 0 BB, 5 K
Great job by Baker!

FLames pitching sets down 15 of the last 16 Maryland batters and Liberty wins 11-4. Dont look now but LU has won four straight.

Kemmerer started, but he struggled (it was before I had the game on too). He walked the first three guys, then gave up an infield hit. Then Baker came in and pitched "lights out" for 8 innings!

Great to see the guys turning it around. These are games that we have to absolutely have.
I would love for them to prove me wrong after the first two weekends.

If we can keep our pitcher use to a minimum we will have plenty of arms for the weekend when we open Big South play against CSU
