Big, I received the same info, and I love that we are "going for it" today!

First game i've got to go to in person this year. Man, our offense is just absolutely punchless. We get no production from CF, 1b, 2b, and DH. There's just not any options, no matter who he puts in they dont hit. The talent just isn't there. Secondly, Bream is not a good Left fielder he made a huge error that cost us. Bream should be playing first and put someone else with an arm and range in the OF. Thompson is a total liability at the plate and misjudged another ball today that cost us another run. At this point i dont see what he's bringing to the table. We have a number of guys that look like they have never seen a curve ball. Our pitchers actually threw well today, the defense and bats just didn't back them up. Also, during that 4 run inning, Tech only hit one ball out of the infield. There was a swinging bunt, 2 choppers that Bream ran down and could do nothing with, a perfect bunt, a chopper between first and 2nd that we could go nowhere with and 2 errors by the Bream boys. That was just a tough inning to watch.
Also, the bats sound like wood. I think the change has really hurt a number of our guys. The ball just doesn't jump off any of our guys bats. Even Tech's guys only had 2 solid hits today. You never hear that ping sound at all. I mean everyone has that same disadvantage of getting used to it but we just can't hit curveballs and have no punch.
Finally, after watching today I would say that this team will struggle to reach the 30 win mark this year to keep our streak alive. I just don't see how this lineup is going to be able to score enough runs to do much.

tough loss indeed. the bats are slient right now and we are simply not playing well. it would be nice to see a sweep over binghamton this weekend. our 1-4 hitters are playing well, but we need help from the bottom of the lineup.

One thing Ive noticed in all three of Steve's starts (and maybe its just me) but it seems like whenever there is that big inning for the opposition, it starts with a pretty basic play that ends badly for us and if it had been made we might have avoided taking a lot of damage. Go back to the UNF series...strikeout, throw gets away, man goes to second on the error, next batter doubles, next batter two run home run...Mercer series...outfielder misjudges a line drive, turns into a double, leads to a 4 run inning...yesterday...first two ground out...third base with an error...leads to three run inning...in all three of those cases, if the play is made, Steve probably pitches differently and maybe doesnt get hit as hard (if at all).
As for the rest of the guys, its not like they (especially the incoming guys) forget how to play baseball as soon as they step on the mountain.
