Shouldn't this be games 1-4? Anyway looks like that 3rd basemen has a lot of pop...a whole lot.

It should indeed.

Tanis is all over preseason All-America lists and top MLB prospect lists. He is a seriously tough out by all accounts with bigtime power.

Tough out as in he isn't like most power hitters and his hard to strike out? A power hitter that puts the ball in play a lot is really hard to find and an extremely valuable asset to any team.

watched them play last year. good team. and the third baseman is a stud. Should be a good gauge for us right off the bat.

It will be interesting to see what the new bats will do to the averages of the hitters this season.

The great hitters should do well, but not as well as they did with the old bats.Great pitching should do a lot better.

Yeah, from what I've heard its a lot like hitting with a wooden bat.

Will anybody be at these games to keep us updated? And more importantly how the team looks becasue following the stats online tells me nothing about the game and how each team is playing.

looks like we have four transfers as projected starters: casey rasmus at catcher, zack haley at second, joshua thompson in center field and ian parmley as DH. rasmus' brother Colby plays for the St. Louis Cardinals. i think evans and swanson are the first two starters. im really looking forward to the season.

Smooth, Forslund's not projected in the top 2...all toman and everybody i've talked to have been saying he's bringing gas with looks from big league scouts. Swanson was rock solid a couple years ago before he got hurt.

Jenkins, I think you meant to say that Swanson is not projected in the top 2. Forslund is. If I'm wrong, please correct me, but that's the way I heard it. I haven't heard who is 3 and 4, have you?

It's finally here. Liberty baseball is back. It's game day ladies and gentlemen and I couldn't be more excited I just wish they were playing at home.
