Pitcher Jared Lyons commits to play for Division I Liberty

Tabb High's Jared Lyons, a rising senior, has committed to pitch for Liberty University in Lynchburg. Lyons, a 6-foot-1, 170-pound left-hander, said he will sign a scholarship that will cover about one-third of his expenses.
