Game#46 vs. Maryland

the terps come to town after breaking a nine game losing streak yesterday beating Towson 10-5. Maryland is (16-33) on the season. LU (33-12) looks to win it's fifth straight game today. If you can't make it out to the game catch it on 90.9 WWMC or at

Maryland's first inning at bat and Gianinni gave up 3 straight hits and 1 run and then struck out 3 straight swinging.

Michael Robertson's 3-run HR in the 1st has helped LU out to a 5-1 lead in the 4th.

Liberty Rolls Past Maryland, 11-1
The Liberty Flames extended their winning streak to five-straight, downing the Maryland Terrapins, 11-1, Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference match-up at Worthington Stadium.
Liberty moves to 34-12 on the season. Maryland falls to 16-34. The contest was the first meeting between the two schools on the baseball diamond since 1992

maryland is one of the worst teams i have seen in awhile. cam looked great after the first inning, JJ looked great as well and the bats were great today.

Agreed, they play just bad baseball....I honestly cant see any hope at all on that team...I'm not sure how they've won at all in the ACC

We have a legit shot at 41-42 wins in the regular season. I never thought I'd be able to say that after the Asheville and High Point series.

Coach Bakich at Maryland is in his first year there. He came from Vanderbilt where he was the recruiter under Coach Corbin. Maryland will improve once Coach Bakich gets his own recruits there.

ok.....then they will need to catch up to the other 4-5 top ten programs in the ACC....good luck with that. HMO, i was in the radio booth....shoot me a text next time.
