Hey SJ what does it take for LU to get a game tracker like JMU uses? I like it.

I'm assuming you mean GMU. The game trackers like that are basics through CSTV who does their website. They pay a bunch of money every year ($25-30k) for CSTV to do all of their website stuff. For us to get that program to use for live stats it will cost about $5000 per year per sport.

It wasn't a flawless outing, but it's good to see Linza get back out there and make some positive strides.

Final was 16-7, according to gametracker
looks like Linza gave us 5 innings, gave up 9 hits w/ 1 k and 3 walks?

That's right.
The impressive things:
1) Only three walks in five innings. In his previous two starts he had three walks and an HBP in 2/3 inning against VMI and four walks in 1/3 inning against PC. This shows his controls is better.
2) Only gave up one extra base hit. Out of nine hits, eight were singles. He wasn't giving up the big hit.
3) Only struck out one but only gave up five runs out of 11 runners. He got himself out of some situations that could've gotten bad. He wasn't able to do this in his past two starts.
It's not the Linza of the beginning of the season but it's improvement and movement in the right direction. Hopefully he can keep working on some stuff and we can use him in the VCU game or maybe even the Coastal series.

all great points SJ. If we could use him in relief against coastal would be great.

biggest key to this win is that we got 9 innings out of 2 guys that have struggled mightily this year. We could really use these 2 guy's to get going for the tournament so that we don't run out of pitching like normal.
