LU gets the win in game one 6-4. Shawn Teufel goes the distance giving up four runs on nine hits and striking out eight to run his record to 5-1 on the season. Leading the way offensively was Nate Thompson going 3-5 with a run scored and an RBI and Doug Bream going 1-4 with three runs driven in.

Good win, this week off to a better start than last week. A heck of a catch by the centerfielder last night. Let's take 2 today!

High Point's stirrups are legit. Their pitching, however, isn't.

Keegan still in there and retired the side in order in the 6th. I tthink it's safe to say that right now Toman has a lot more confidence in his starters than his bullpen.

We get 3 in the bottom of the 6th to go up 10-6. Redal with a clutch bases loaded bunt single with 2 outs.

HP cuts it to 10-8, and then we stretch it back to 13-8. Now in the top of the 8th and HP has runners on the corners with 1 out against Richardson. They are one of the top hitting teams in the country and they aren't going away.

Even with HPU getting their hacks LU has done well to keep coming up with offense to counter the HPU offense whenever they got close
