There were rain delays multiple times, that's why there were stoppages. We're looking really solid out there.

LU has yet to allow more than 5 runs in a game this season and this is the fourth time in five games where they have allowed one or zero runs

Does anyone use Twitter that posts regular updates for LU baseball games?

I would if I was going to be there today. Sunday's game I will live tweet from, along with next weekend, if you'd like.

A question for those who follow the baseball team closely. Is Matt Williams injured? I hadn't heard anything. Matt was so solid last year and off to a hot start this year, but Josh Richardson is playing shortstop now (and seems to be doing a great job as well).

He is...I think he injured his ankle or his hand.

Nope, pulled his hammy. Will be out this weekend, probably back next weekend.

Thanks. Glad it's not serious, and it could benefit us down the road to have Richardson get some game experience.

I agree. we have a lot of depth on this team, and Richardson gives us depth on the diamond and the mound, he's really valuable for us.

Thanks TTL, I knew he had injured himself I just could not remember what...anyway Josh has really shown some very good pop with the bat of late in addition to his exploits on the mound.

Well, Tyler continues to be an RBI machine, giving us a 2 run lead with a single in the bottom of the first.

And we roll up another double play. We have a TON of those things this year...
