First pitch of the '10 season will be a little after 4 PM.

The batting lineup is a little different than I expected. I was thinking the Redal/Bream/MikeRob would be 2-3-4 instead of 3-4-5. Somewhat surprised to see Neufang starting over Doug too but Coach Toman seems to really like him.

Here's to grabbing the first of about 45 wins this year.

Flames already up 1-0 after a Tyler Bream RBI double. 2nd and 3rd with one out, top of the first.

Michael Robertson with a sacrifice bunt and we're up 2-0.

Wimmer strikes out to end the inning, and the Flames get off to a good start, up 2-0 after the top of the first.

There goes the no-hitter for Tuefel.

I'll give em a pass cause it's the first game of the season, but I hope this doesn't happen all weekend.

Don't know how it happened but we got out of the inning giving up one run. 2-1 us going into the 2nd.

So the score isn't 10-3 in the 8th as the live stats are telling me right now? It also says we're playing Radford (I obviously know we're not), but shows the KSU logo...

We're up 2-1, or at least we were at last update.

Ya, I played around with it a little bit. Stupid Radford. Got it now though.

They seem to be somewhat working again. Nuefang walked and Nate struck out. Kenny hitting now. Then again, who knows how long that's been stuck.

It was stuck for a while. We did no damage, and Tuefel gave up a HBP and a wild pitch before settling in to get two outs in the bottom of the 2nd. Stuck there.

Kenny struck out and then Matt grounded out.

Bottom 2nd and Tuefel hit a guy, threw a wild pitch, struck out the next guy, and then had the one after him pop out. Two outs runner on 2nd.

We get out of the inning, Kenny getting some work in left catching two straight fly balls.

PJ pops up and then Curran singles. The hit streak has begun.

It's been stuck for 20 minutes. Who knows what's happened since then.

After Curran's single, he stole second AND third, and then scored on a Robertson single.

3-1 LU, bottom 4. Teufel has yet to allow another hit.

Teufel does have 4 walks tho. He's fared better than KSU's starter, who was lifted after 3 IP and 3 ER. 9.00 ERA to start the season....

Top 6 now. Same score. Teufel was pulled after 4. 7 K's 1 H, 1ER, 4 BB's.

Bases loaded for LU after a pair of singles and a HBP. Matty W. with a single and it's 4-1.

Curran drives in 2 more on a single, and it's 6-1.

Bream reaches on an error to center, and a run comes home. 7-1, LU. Official scoring looks like a Sac Fly and an error? Works for me.

He gets to second on a WP, Curran at 3rd, one out.

The guys are on pitch counts this week so with the walks, that makes sense.
