Sweet lord. Thats funny. KSU Should be in the NCAA's but because of ineligibility due to moving up from DII a couple of years ago they can't participate in their conference tourney or the NCAA's. They ended 2nd in their conference standings behind FGCU by 2.5 games. Both teams were ineligible during the reclassifying period. I'm not sure about western but we've already beat them once.

71...its a joke...although itd be nice to have a little double elimination tournament akin to the NIT (like 8-12 teams) although on the downside there is as with anything the risk of injury

Risk of injury has never stopped postseason tourneys before.

You're kidding, right?
ATLANTA, Ga -- For those teams whose seasons completed uninvited to the NCAA Regional field, there is one final honor to bestow. SEBaseball.com has released the annual NIT field. The teams will meet in the familiar NCAA style bracket before finally culminating in an eight-team final in Quahog, Rhode Island.
To be eligible for the 64 team NIT, teams needed at least a .500 overall record, an impressive resume, and a lack of representation on the NCAA Selection Committee.
Teams were seeded not based on merit but instead based on the uniform color, ranking as a party school, and essays written by the ball girls.
Games begin May 32-34. ESPN holds the broadcast rights insuring there will be no televised games despite the network having an entire channel dedicated solely to college sports programming.
