How come we do so well against these tough ACC teams but struggle when we play the CAA teams?

Good question. Hey, maybe all of our non-conference games should be against the ACC next year

I was at the game, beautiful day and a great game by the guys. Starting pitcher did a very good job, solid fielding and timely hitting.

Maybe we should push Coastal to join the ACC, then we could dominate the Big South. Seriously, beating the ACC but getting swept by Coastal. What's up with that? Talk about having our number.

Umm, Coastal is pretty good. They would more than hold their own in the ACC.

Coastal beat Carolina earlier this year. They're pretty good if you haven't heard.

dook is not exactly the cream of the crop in the ACC. They are currently 6th...just barely above VT. NC State, who we pounded this year.......sucks.

However, we had decent showings against #1 UNC & #11 UVA.

im quite aware coastal has a very good team. however, they get swept by HP and winthrop and then we couldn't even take a game off of them. the point is not that they are bad, the point is that we are wildly inconsistent.

Did Seth or Bryson/JDUB throw out the first pitch?

Yeah Coastal has a good team but we have held our own the last few years except the doublt digit leads we blew. Not bad considering we had snow on the ground here in Feb. and they probably had 70 degree weather. Hopefully we will have a good week next week when it matters!
