Liberty earns the auto-bid this week, as they sit atop the Big South standings.

Here's the full field: http://thecollegebaseballblog.com/2009/ ... -april-23/

I'll be around for any questions/comments.

I would seriously doubt that they would put two Big South teams in the same regional. I understand regionalization and all ... but it just wouldn't happen.

Coastal has blown whatever chance they thought they had to host a regional with losses against Clemson and CofC this week. Like Chris, I think the NCAA works to avoid match-ups within the conferences the first round.

You're right. It was a mistake and it's been fixed.

Good. Who likes to play Coastal? 8)

The Flames would be considered a strong 4 seed with a top 100 RPI, so they would likely get a non-national seed regional.

If Coastal finished the season today, they would also likely be at a non-national seed regional.

The good thing is, with so many regionals likely on the East Coast, there's a good chance both teams won't have to travel far.
