Cool. After the JMU game it is good to post a series opening win.

So at what point in the season do we start to admit we barely have any pitching? When we played a good team, with good pitching, we're not going to win.

So just because a guy gives up two runs, it's a lack of pitching depth?
Shawn might not be our ace but he's one of our starters and he's not terrible.

It was just the way he did it, the walk, two hit batsmen and the 2 passed balls. Maybe "lack of pitching depth" was the wrong way to say that.

Terrible control to start the game, yes. But High Point's is even worse. Two pitchers have combined to hit 5 batters in 2 innings!

Now let's see if we can hold this lead. If we can, it will prove a lot to me. I know we have a couple of great weekend starters, but we've gotta make sure our bullpen can hold leads like this throughout the year. Giving up a run or two is no big deal, but we can't give up 6-7 runs to close the game.

19-5 now as we are still pooring it on. Tyler Bream having a good game. Not sure where HP fits in the Big South standings but this series has been a good one for us.
Why are we bringing in Browning now with things well in hand. He is our top closer but maybe it is to get him some experience.

19-5 final. Browning and Dullivan give up no runs and 1 hit over the final three innings

He finished with nine.
With Coastal LOSING 2 of 3 to Winthrop...a 4-1 start in conference for the Flames is looking nice.
