there was a chance of rain. hopefully it holds off, they don't need any more canceled or postponed games

Why aren't these night games? Is it travel reasons? For those working it would be nice to see a few games.

Probably bc it gets so cold in march they don't want to freeze the guys

I agree JDUB ... and the ability to travel easily home certainly factors in.

Speaking of which...looking like a VERY good call to NOT have Fri's BSC opener at night. Brrrrr.

Tyler Light will get the start for the Flames...

William and Mary has lost to VMI this year, so we will have an early look at how we stack up against a common opponent.

Same reason LU football has night games when it's warm and afternoon games when it's colder or when the Hillcats play 2:05 on Sunday's when it's in the middle of summer and 6:05 in the fall

Livestats wakes up, and shows that we are winning. Doug Bream with an RBI double.

Yeah, our bats are working well today. Trey Wimmer with a bomb in the first, and we are already scoring again in the 2nd. Up 6-0.

Two singles and a walk are all that Tyler has surrendered through three, and we are up 7-1 in the bottom of the 3rd.

Still in the bottom of the 3rd, 10-1.

The Tribe is totally falling apart. 2 errors have allowed the Flames to stretch the lead to 13-1.

I wonder if 10-run rule is in effect.

when were we losing?

They lost their 12 point lead and then 13 but thankfully W&M never tied it nor passed us. I was just starting to have a cardiac when the Flames finally stopped W&M and scored some more. whew!!!!!

We were never down but it got closer then it should have

Dont let this score fool you we are 1000% better then W&M. The only reason it got close to begin with is because we tried to make sure our SP got the win....he only needed 1 out and got within 1 strike of getting it. Then we brought in someone who doesnt see much playing time and I think that combo was an 11 run swing or close to it.

W&M just plays bad baseball...throwing to wrong bases....letting bloopers fall b/c of no communication. Heck we even advanced a runner b/c they couldnt throw it back to the pitcher from 2nd base.

We have a stellar team this year (and for the future) and they continue to amaze me with sick sick plays. Our guys' approach is something you should see, the way they play the game is intense. I saw 2 plays today that were unreal and really shouldnt have been made.

Great job guys keep it going

Yeah, Tyler stayed out too long, and Chase came in to a no-win situation.
