I believe, Light gets the win, actually, it was a tie game when he entered, so he should get the W. Evans with a good outing will get a ND. Toman's probably not happy with this one, but 3-1 is a good weekend to start off.

It's ok, pitching is always ahead of hitting at this time in the year. The young guys just need a few weeks to get their feet under them and the weather to warm up a bit. Just keep winning the games your supposed to win and hang in there against the teams your not and see what happens. All around good start to the season out in Bama

Good call jinxy. Gotta win the ones your supposed to and then take some 50/50 games. It'd be nice to come out of this week 7-2, with the only losses being to ranked teams, but i'm not writing us off at UNC till after the game. I really want JMU though

LuMu, I wouldnt write off an upset just yet. I read in the Roanoke Times VMI played UNC Saturday and only lost 6-0, I think we are definetely better than VMI. This a good time to catch the heels, often times good times are very beatable early in the season as they are trying to find the right combos too.

UNC swept VMI this weekend. UNC plays Coastal on the 22nd then us on the 24th. I wish we didn't have the JMU game before the UNC game, a lot of traveling this week for the guys.

Definitely jinxy, that's why I threw in that small, "but i'm not writing us off at UNC till after the game", baseball's crazy. We lost to 1 against Ole Miss, then USA beats Mercer, we beat USA twice, Mercer beats Ole Miss, we beat Mercer. I just think we can view the first couple weeks a big success if we are 7-2, 8-1 would be just icing on the cake.
