The Liberty Flames baseball team has been selected to finish second in the Big South Conference this season in the league’s annual preseason baseball poll. The poll is voted on by the conference’s head coaches.

Not a chance we finish 2nd this year.
We will all but clinch the reg season title when we play Coastal on ESPNU.

McCully received six first-place votes and 14 points in the League’s preseason voting, finishing ahead of Liberty’s Dustin Umberger (nine points, two first-place votes).

just beat coastal, and tech, have respectable showings at UNC. I havent switched gears yet from basketball yet. I would be ok with a 2nd place finish if we can win the tourney lol.

Please tell me the new LU hats don't have white fronts like the O's and Braves had in the '80s.

Haha, my white front panel baseball hat from last year is one of my favorite hats that I have. I hate how the front has a high profile but other than that I love it, especially the design.
