Im surprised nobody posted about this yet:

Four of the signees are from the state of Virginia, while the states of North Carolina, New Jersey, and Washington are also represented.

Larrymack speaks the truth. I saw the team several times this fall and FlameFans are going to LOVE the new middle infield combination. The SS may be the baseball equivalent of Seth Curry. The young guys can swing the bat, too. Young Mr. Bream has a SU-WEET swing.

Is this the baseball thread? I thought I was on the Field Hockey thread...my bad:) March 19th...really? Oh well, I'm BAAACCCKKKK...

I'm just giving you a hard time:) There are always these post from low posting members on the baseball forum that seem so overly positive and ALL CAPS. I'm glad Toman has friends posting on here.

I am excited about this year and can't wait to check out the new team. I'll be there and ready to critique - it's what I do.

Proto...like I said in an earlier post...folks are going to be most impressed by this bunch coach has put together. I can see our season finale season with Coastal being for the top seed in the tourney.

Indians pitcher Jake Matthews has 10 fingers. So, technically, he has enough room to win eight more state baseball championships before he runs out of room for the rings.

Even so, the left hander who transferred to Powhatan this year would be happy just to get the three-pete, adding one more state win to the back-to-back state wins he helped earn at James River.

“That’s the goal,” said Matthews last week, just after signing his official letter to play next year at Liberty University.

i'm a low poster because i don't just post unless i really have something to say. i try to make it worthwhile and try to make sure i know what i am saying. i have a little more ties to the inside info than most, though i still don't have all the info. sometimes though, i can get it first. i am also a little hard of hearing so that's why i like to use CAPS. NOT SHOUTING BUT A LITTLE LOUDER..........ALSO IT'S EASIER FOR ME TO READ THEM. SEE STORM GOT ANOTHER LEFTY?? I HEARD THE NEW SHORTSTOP COULD PROBABLY START ON ANY SEC TEAM AND WAS SET TO DO SO..........BUT A STORM BLEW UP AND HE'S HERE.

Looks like we are focusing on the arms race in the 2009 class. Cameron is a real stud as a pitcher and could also help as a pinch hitter too

Cam Giannini is the real deal fellows...

Colonial Forge High School graduate Jerry Neufang is getting ready for his second baseball season at a junior college in Florida. This standout catcher also has attracted attention from several Division I schools, including Florida Atlantic and the University of Central Florida.

But Neufang, whose father played minor league baseball for the Texas Rangers, will return to Virginia this fall. He recently signed a scholarship to play at Liberty University, a Division I member of the Big South Conference in Lynchburg. He will be eligible to play for the Flames in 2010.
And here is my favorite part ...
“When Liberty called I took a visit up there and it was a good fit,“ Neufang said from Florida. “I liked the coaching staff and how much money they were putting into the baseball program.“

In a recent interview Toman mentioned a player that was going to be one to watch, I think it was a Matt Williams?? Anyone see that interview?

That might have been the College Baseball Blog interview. I don't know...but yeah...Williams is sweet with the glove.

Prospects may already be on campus.

Sometimes there may be someone already a student at LU at that may have been missed by the recruiting process.
