Wow - I might recommend some Prozac. You are all over the place. I'm not sure if you know who I am. I'm not the baseball coach or a coach at Liberty. I, like yourself, am a Liberty Alum. How many times have you been hit with the Lacrosse Stick? Talking down to you? I'm not sure when I spoke down to you - but OK - I wouldn't want you to come to my office and beat me with your Lacrosse stick - obviously Lacrosse players are a little unstable.
Lacrosse is a cool sport - you can quote me on that, but everything you wrote backs up my point. 20, 35, 10 in major cities are really not that many. And you can say all you want, I'm from Florida and am down there a lot. Lacrosse is still not big in Florida. Club teams beating NCAA teams? - who cares - it must not be that big if they all have club teams and not NCAA teams. And that tells you how bad lacrosse is outside of your Maryland’s, Syracuse’s, John Hopkins, etc... The same teams are in the final 4 every year - Go figure. Maybe because it's not that popular and there are only a few good schools.
You have to drop the whole sob story about Lacrosse. PLEASE. There are many programs that don't have budgets or scholarships, Have you every seen a Division III school? The truth is Baseball, Football, Soccer, Softball, Wrestling, Cheerleading, Debate or any other NCAA program should have first rights to an athletic field. Do you think Art Williams would want Baseball or Lacrosse practicing on his field? I'm sorry, Varsity (or Like I like to call NCAA) sports have to be given precedence over club teams - they help bring in revenue, and the school makes the most investment in them. Like it or not - it is reality. What do you think the intramural Fields are for????
