What will be interesting is how our team handles conference play. While we got 2 out of 3, I think that this team might be a bit suspect under pressure and that will certainly be tested in conference. I asked someone earlier why teams seem to be getting lots of hits on our team; winning slugfests doesn't seem like a way to ensure odds of a successful season. I wonder if our pitchers won't be looking so hot in conference.

Yeah the series next weekend should be interesting. Campbell lost this weekend but they have a good record. Coastal and High Point are not going to be push overs. You would think that having these series at home would be a good thing but we have being playing better on the road.

The coaches didn't throw those pitches. I would have let kemmerer go one more inning but it's in the rear view now. It's baseball and sometimes games like this happen. This is the worst the bullpen has performed all year for goodness sake. Heck the guys almost came back and won it. This group has shown all year they don't give up and they will rebound. The thing that drives me nuts about LU fans is anytime we lose it's either coaching, the Season is over, do not know what to think, internal team issues, etc. we have a good team that is tied for first in the conference. This upcoming Campbell series will indeed tell us a lot but we are home, we have a nice starting staff and we can mash so right now I'm not worried at all. Up next payback against VCU!
