Another good win to take the series. It would be a good early statement to finish it off with a sweep tomorrow. Thanks for the updates throughout the game. They were generally 5+ minutes ahead of the "almost" live stats.

We gave up 9 runs, but only TWO were earned. Errors came at very costly times.

We did give up 13 hits though. They scored 8 of their 9 runs in one inning. Once you make an error or 2 and the inning should have been over, they're all unearned after that, even if they are driving them in with hits.

Liberty Falls in Extra Innings

The St. John’s Red Storm pushed across a run in the 11th inning, edging the Liberty Flames, 7-6, Sunday afternoon at Worthington Stadium.

Liberty drops to 11-2 on the year. St. John’s improves to 8-5 and salvages the final game of the three-game series. The Flames took the first two games of the series on Friday and Saturday.
