Well I finally got there, looks great. The detail on the exterior is very professional looking. Tried to get a picture posted of my CheapSeat. But couldn't figure it out even with help from my friend PH.

Can't wait to get back in the seat. But the rain seems to be keeping everyone indoors.

"Sky boxes" - Yes, I believe so. It looks like on the first base side as there are seats outside the glassed in "sky box". It appears from what I can tell there are at least 3 of them.

really shorty?? i will leave the alone time to you, haize, and atrain. the stadium really looks great. the picnic area is sweet with a firepit and nice wrought iron furniture. most of the sod was put down on the 3rd base side saturday, so other than some siding trim work, all of the work is inside other than some landscaping on the back side of the stadium. This place is really awesome, a great recruiting tool....now all we need is a coach! :D

Its look nicer all the time. I can't wait to finally be within driving distance of campus to see all of these great improvements for myself.

ok was hoping that the plain jane look to the field was just b/c we were throwing the thing up to get it done in time for opening day last year.

still no logo's/graphics on the turf? what gives?

I'm not really a purist so I guess I was hoping for something cool behind the plate or down the baselines

anyone know anything?

EDIT: reading back now I look like a whiny b$%^* but hey SJ has a thing for uni's I like the field to be cool

I disagree. The admin cares, but its just not the top priority at the moment. Top priority has been making ourselves attractive to an FBS conference, which has come with a mandate from the top that we have top-notch facilities. Finishing up that work takes time/effort...

Something will happen with basketball in the offseason, if things aren't already going on behind the scenes.

It's kind of like my line of work in disability. Obviously I care about every case as none of my claimant's have an income to live off of. However, the terminal cancer claimant and the one facing foreclosure are going to be my top priorities, despite the fact that those cases were assigned to me today while the person with chronic back pain has been waiting for a month for a decision (other factors go into it...timeliness of medical records received, do we have enough medical records, do we have forms from the claimant back, etc...but you get my point).

Ranking 350 out of 351 in men's basketball is not making ourselves attractive to any D-I conference, let alone any FBS conference.

We weren't 350/351 (or did we finally reach 351?) until this season...and men's basketball has only been an afterthought in conference realignment in this century following 1. Media Markets and 2. Football. Neither the B1G, SEC, PAC-12 or ACC were considering Kansas (a top men's bball program) when it looked like the Big 12 was about to be picked apart or any of the non-Big East football schools. A top men's bball program didn't help UConn either...
