drove by today and the scoreboard is up. the video board is next. the park is visually deceptive to me. they reopened the road going to green hall and it looks like a small parking area will be behind the outfield wall. and totally agree on the practice field very deceptive as well. things are progressing nicely.

That's not a Carolina or Coastal colored roof, is it?
I'm guessing they could paint it ;)

It's going to be a real home field advantage...

Playing on gravel and with no outfield fence.

"It's a fly ball to right, Coastal Outfielder is racing to get to it in time...(BAM) He just ran into a tractor... Liberty wins!! Liberty wins!!"

NOTE TO JB: please for the love of Obama do NOT rush this to make opening day in Feb

worse than missing some game vs Penn St would be half-arsing it to get it done, no seats/toilets/concessions, crappy seams in the carpet and plywood for a roof.

I vote have it 100% for the conference matchups.

and no one cares. but I feel better now.

I will bet BJ's next paycheck that if they get significant snow down there this week the deal is off.

I'm guessing they lose a day or 2 just to clear the site everytime that happens.

They've been saying all along that it'll barely be functional by that first game. The dugouts may be done and the field may be done, but that'll be it.

Itll be a question (with the weather as its been the last couple weeks) of whether they can even get to that point in time. there's a lot to be done to get it even to basic function for that weekend

I agree… but don't the contractors have something to say about it? I assume there are bonuses for getting it done on time, right?

But then he would be violating the Liberty Way. Both the old one, the new one and the Top Secret one!

The weather once again hasnt been in you favor especially the last few weeks. The problem with any building project (in my view) is that until the building is externally self contained, any adverse weather condition will prevent work from being done. Its almost impossible to have a project where there is absolutely no rain or snow or whatever over the course of the build
