I'll admit that my post was perverted, but the joke may have been lost in translation. The rundown in my head went something like this: BJ says something ridiculous which is known as a bjism which kind of sounds like jism which comes from 3 full pulls.

Actually its more like this shorty:

Rule #1: BJ is sometimes wrong, but you might want to ask for clarification (unless its his wife...now SHE is never wrong)

We're close enough. Absolutely have to beat Carolina. Beating Clemson would be icing.

Its possible. if he pitches that game, then he can still get his full rest before the Asheville series then send either Lyons or Stafford against UNC

If he goes Tuesday he will have 5 full days for his next Sunday start. A bit less than he is used to, but probably enough. Maybe Toman has him go 5 or 6 against the Tigers and then comes in with Clowers. Our bullpen is rested, so there are lots of options.

Truth be told, you should be able to get by with Stafford or someone like that on Sunday of the Asheville series if need be. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he went Bean on Tuesday if only because you don't want a guy to go a full two weeks without pitching live. Add in the nine-day break after the Asheville series, and it makes sense he'd get the ball on Tuesday, especially with Fulghum moving to the weekend in Herndon's absence.
