We get an extra day before facing a pair of in-state mid-week games (and we had a lot of trouble with those games last year only getting one against JMU and two against ODU)

Campbells coaches players and fans are an embarassment to the game. The coaches argue every controversial call against them (makes toman look tame). The fans dont know the game and cheer wildly on a walk in the 3rd inning and brag about winning one game. Thompson is straight bush league. He taunted our bench twice today once each game. Unless youve been to a series against them you really dont understand how small time they are. If they want to be respected then have a little bit of class about your program. As for the game. Out starters put us in a hole both games. Fantastic pitching from fulghum perritt and marsh today. Ryan seiz is the best hitter ive seen in an lu uniform since ive followed the program. We had our chances and i would have never bet that the uncoordinated knock kneed closer would have fielded that squeeze. Also good to hear we will have stafford back in langs article. I think were about 2 pitchers away from special. Hopefully hes one of them

Don't forget that chicken wing move the one guy did so the ball would hit him in the elbow. And I heard those fans they were really, really annoying. I'm used to dealing with fans like that though you just have to be louder and remind them how much better your team is.

Two years ago when they were here the CU fans were completely obnoxious. I can't imagine how they are during home games. I was at a CU basketball game and the "pep band" had a chant, half would say "Liberty" and then the other half would respond "sucks".

In this game there was a loud CU fan yelling at the ref and calling them "homers" and then went on to call Lu "playing in a hell hole". They're still obnoxious and showed total disrespect to LU fans, the team and the school. The players were very obnoxious as well.
