Nice to hear Keegan Linza stepping into the analyst role with Nick this weekend as well...he did a pretty solid job in his guest appearance last year and itll be interesting to see how they do working together for a full season...

Will be interesting to see if Herndon becomes the every Friday starter as well.

Richardson, Herndon & Britt were the guys that showed the most today.

Really not crazy about pinch hitting a true freshman with the bases loaded for Sizemore. Other than that I thought Toman managed the game pretty well.

One bad thing that has carried over from last year is too many first pitch swings with RISP or on base. There must have been 5 or 6 routine outs made, just need to work the counts more.

All in all a pretty good showing though we left far too many men on base and didn't capitalize on their errors.

Did anyone else notice the series they have scheduled with Clemson? 3 games in 3 days, with each at a different site. One home game each and one at a neutral site in Greenville (although that´s a lot closer to Clemson than to Columbia). Pretty cool way to handle a rivalry if you ask me. I wonder if they do it every year?

SC bunted with a man on first and our pitcher threw the ball away and eventually scored an unearned run. They won the game by one run. We didn't bunt because we didn't get the leadoff man on until the 8th inning when were down 4 runs. Can you imagine the 5th ranked team in the country bunting? What a horrible coach. Sorry jbock for the sarcasm.

Having coached varsity baseball when I was a HS teacher in PA gives me a frame of reference to the art and timing of bunting. Having said that what I like about you is your sense of humor. Your a good sport.

Well truth is I forgot there was a game yesterday. Otherwise I would have listened to it but since I didn't I can't critique. As you may know baseball is my favorite sport. Anyways, carry on.

Saturday's game has been postponed due to snow/rain.
