Yeah, its probably bit much to hope for Coastal to slip up somewhere along the way so we wouldn't have to beat them twice.

A bit surprised Meo pitched 7 innings (107 p) today, the way the game unfolded. Can he give CCU 6 innings on Saturday (presuming CCU is there)?

On to tomorrow @ 11:00 :x

Yeah, I noticed that they messed it up too...the problem is they changed the way they numbered the games (last season, the Tuesday games were A and B, not 1 and 2)...they just didn't maintain the changed numbering throughout the schedule.

Well if you are coastal you have no plan to throw Meo on short rest. Sure they might need to use Fleet in a save situation but I'm sure Coach Gilmore is counting on his normal Sat/Sun guys the next two days and then running Fleet out there on Saturday. Must be nice, huh? Fleet obviously did start for them at times...but lets be honest...as a "#4" fleet is the best in the conference (shoot he's an Ace for all but maybe 2 other teams in the Big South...CSU & LU, as far as I'm concerned).

They also have about 2 or 3 other guys who would be in the weekend rotation for every other team... With their depth they aren't worried about 'saving arms' or setting things up. I'm sure everything this weekend is with an eye to setting up the rotation for Regionals. Again, must be nice :)

... or at least having Meo for Sunday if they need him. When you have depth running your ace out first makes a great deal of sense.

Evans gets out of the inning ... bottom of 2nd now with us down 1-nothing.

There's the city of Houston stepping up for the Flames once again ... Negron's 2-run double has the Flames up 2-1 with runners now on the corners with no one out yet in the 2nd.
